Senior Software Engineer

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering large-scale backend systems using Python, Kotlin, or similar technologies.
• Proven experience building highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Spark.
• Strong system design skills to define scalable, maintainable, and extensible technical solutions.
• Experience working within large codebases implementing significant changes safely through robust engineering practices and tooling.
• Strong sense of ownership and proactive approach to growth, actively seeking and applying feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across globally distributed engineering teams.

• Own and deliver quarterly engineering goals while leading your team through complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Data Analysts throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Identify and lead initiatives for technical, process, and business improvements.
• Ensure reliability and availability of team's services, participate in on-call rotations.
• Drive engineering best practices including code review processes and design standards.
• Mentor and support fellow engineers by providing feedback and sharing knowledge.
