Mainframe Architect

LinkGroup is hiring an experienced Mainframe Architect to support IBM Z mainframe environments focusing on high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

• Strong experience with IBM Z mainframe environments.
• Knowledge of Parallel Sysplex, GDPS, and mainframe clustering concepts.
• Experience with enterprise disaster recovery and multi-site architectures.
• Ability to analyze complex technical environments and communicate findings clearly through documentation.

• Review and validate IBM Z infrastructure and resilience architectures.
• Assess disaster recovery, replication, and high-availability solutions.
• Evaluate failover readiness, secondary-site capabilities, and operational resilience.
• Create technical documentation, architecture assessments, and audit-related reports.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and stakeholders on critical platform improvements.
