Business Analyst - Murex

VISTULO is hiring Business Analysts with deep, hands-on Murex expertise to work remotely for a top North American bank. The role involves working in teams covering Money Markets, Payments, and FX domains, contributing to capital markets solutions.

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner
• Hands-on Murex experience in testing (MXtest), integration, or technical configuration
• Domain experience in Payments, transfers, SWIFT, FX auto-pricing, FX hedging, FX risk management, FX front-office trade booking, FX cash, FX trade lifecycle (confirmation, affirmation, regulatory reporting)
• Ability to independently solve problems and deliver solutions
• Execution mindset with a bias for action, driving requirements directly from business
• Persistence in problem-solving without waiting for answers
• Strong communication skills in high-stakes, trader-facing environments
• Ability to maintain 5-6 hour overlap with US Eastern business hours

Nice to have:

• Prior software development experience
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate requirements, testing, or delivery
• Options knowledge

• Collect and drive requirements directly with the business, advising on technical feasibility
• Translate requirements into Jira tickets, own the backlog, and hold the development team accountable
• Apply deep Murex, capital markets, payments, and/or FX domain knowledge to ground requirements and reviews
• Run acceptance testing to confirm delivered work meets requirements
• Focus on an area aligned with your background: test strategy and acceptance criteria for automation; integration and data-mapping requirements between Murex and downstream systems; or building test cases in MXtest
• Use AI tools to speed up requirements, testing, or delivery work where appropriate
