Senior Android Developer

Angry Nerds is a company working with international projects providing a flat structure and small teams where developers collaborate intensively.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience developing modern Android applications
• Very good knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK
• Experience with Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Retrofit, dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt, MVVM / MVI, and Room
• Experience in debugging, profiling, and optimizing app performance
• Experience writing unit tests
• Proficient with Jetpack Compose, including testing and optimizing recompositions
• Knowledge of the Google Play app publication process
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD processes, pipeline configuration, build and distribution automation (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Experience designing mobile app architecture, including modularization
• Good knowledge of Gradle: build and variant configuration, R8 configuration, dependency management, build time optimization
• English language proficiency allowing fluent communication with clients

Nice to have:

• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
• Experience with adaptive UI
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform

• Creating and developing Android application code in collaboration with the project team
• Mentoring junior and mid-level developers
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring high technical standards within the team
• Collaborating with clients on proposed solutions for new functionalities
• Participating in project analysis, estimation, and planning processes
• Supporting architectural and application design decisions
