Supplier Quality Engineer

• 5+ years in quality engineering, manufacturing, or technical project management with a BSc in Engineering strongly preferred.
• Practical expertise in APQP, PPAP, GD&T (reading engineering drawings), and root-cause methodologies (8D, 5Why).
• Fluent English for daily global collaboration.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Strong autonomy, excellent time management, and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have:

• Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) or PMP credentials.
• ISO 9001 knowledge with auditor certification as a plus and SAP ERP experience.
• Working knowledge of German.

• Oversee assigned regional commodities and provide operational quality support across EMEA facilities.
• Execute supplier audits to reduce the regional backlog and lead the Supplier CTQ project for Precision Components.
• Lead early-phase activities such as drawing reviews, risk assessments, and control plans aligned with APQP and PPAP guidelines.
• Drive structured issue resolution using 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, SPC, and FMEA.
• Track quality metrics and present updates or critical risks to executive leadership.
