Senior Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

Must-have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience designing and implementing Lakehouse architecture
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Practical knowledge of PySpark and Microsoft Fabric Notebooks
• Experience building ETL/ELT processes
• Experience modeling Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers
• Experience designing semantic models for Power BI
• Knowledge of DAX
• Experience implementing Data Governance and Data Quality principles
• Completed at least one end-to-end project from data acquisition through Lakehouse, Gold layer, semantic model, to publishing data in Power BI
• Ability to analyze business processes and document data transformation rules
• Ability to collaborate with business and data owners

• Design and implement data ingestion into the Lakehouse using Medalion architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold)
• Develop Data Pipelines, Notebooks, and ETL/ELT processes
• Design and develop semantic models for Power BI
• Prepare technical documentation according to client standards
• Collaborate closely with data owners, business analysts, and the Data Office team
• Implement Data Governance and Data Quality principles
