SHIMI is delivering a long-term international programme for a leading European Union institution responsible for research, innovation, and funding initiatives across Europe. The role involves contributing to the modernization and evolution of critical grant management platforms used by organizations, applicants, experts, and public institutions throughout the EU.
Wymagania
- University degree corresponding to a minimum of 5 years of higher education.
- Minimum 3 years of ICT experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Application Architect, or similar role.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.
- Practical knowledge of EU funding and grant management programmes such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, Digital Europe, or similar.
- Understanding compliance requirements including GDPR and data protection principles.
- Experience translating business requirements and programme documentation into technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and governance frameworks including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, RUP, and ITIL.
- Experience with backlog management, refinement, estimation, and iterative delivery.
- Experience with requirements management and documentation tools.
- Knowledge of business analysis and modelling techniques including user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process modelling, and data modelling.
- Experience designing API-based integrations and enterprise interoperability solutions.
- Understanding testing methodologies including UAT and regression testing.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and data protection best practices.
- Experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, REST, SOAP, SQL, PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL, WebLogic Application Server, Java Enterprise Frameworks, Maven, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, DevSecOps, JUnit, and Mockito.
Nice to have:
- Experience with SEP Submission and SEP Evaluation platforms.
- Experience working on projects for EU institutions.
- Knowledge of eGrants-related systems.
- Angular experience.
- Experience with EU reusable frameworks such as eUI and EUSign.
- Experience related to Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) initiatives.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, or Kiro.
Mandatory Eligibility Requirements:
- EU citizenship is required.
- Professional English proficiency at C1 level or higher (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- CV must be submitted in Europass format.
Obowiązki
- Design architecture solutions for grant management platforms and related applications.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Define architecture specifications, interfaces, integration models, and API contracts.
- Support modernization of existing systems towards modular and microservice-oriented architectures.
- Analyze technical and business impacts of proposed changes.
- Design and support integrations between multiple enterprise applications.
- Prepare and maintain technical and architectural documentation.
- Participate in architecture governance and technical decision-making.
- Support troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, and corrective maintenance.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure solution quality and compliance with architectural standards.
- Support backlog refinement, estimation, and technical planning activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Identify dependencies, risks, and cross-team impacts.
- Present technical solutions and implemented features to business and technical stakeholders.
