Business Analyst (m/f/n)

The project concerns the eExperts platform re-engineering, development, evolutionary maintenance, and support. It includes the ECS Back Office, Compass workflows, and the ECS Front Office being migrated to new MyExpertArea components integrated with the Funding & Tenders Portal, operated for a European Union institution based in Brussels.

• University degree
• Minimum 5 years of ICT experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in requirements engineering, elicitation, specification, verification, validation, and prioritization
• Experience in requirements analysis and modelling according to BABOK and IEEE 29148 standards, including User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, State Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Entity-Relationship Models
• Experience with process modelling techniques such as BPMN and flowcharts
• Knowledge of IT modelling methodologies such as UML
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, requirements elicitation, analysis, specification and validation, and consensus building between business and IT stakeholders
• Experience working with complex web applications, back-office systems, workflows, and highly integrated applications
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and governance frameworks including Agile, PM² Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, RUP, ITIL
• Knowledge of product management practices including roadmapping, backlog management, and outcome-based planning
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, GitLab for creating, prioritizing, and tracking user stories, epics, and backlogs
• Experience with modelling, diagramming, and wireframing tools including Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Axure, Balsamiq, Pencil, Figma
• Experience with data management and analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Excel
• Experience with system integrations including automated API integrations and structured manual data imports
• Knowledge of project and portfolio management tools such as Jira Align and Microsoft Project
• Understanding of testing and validation practices including Test Scenario Definition, Test Case Design and Execution, Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, Requirements Traceability, Defect Management
• Experience coordinating UAT activities, production sanity checks, pilot deployments, proximity support, and post-release validation
• Experience supporting UX/UI activities through user journeys, wireframes, and prototyping
• Understanding of administrative and financial business processes within large organizations
• Knowledge of enterprise IT environments, information systems architecture, and application lifecycle management
• Understanding of data governance and data quality standards within enterprise information systems
• Knowledge of compliance requirements including GDPR, eIDAS digital signature regulations, financial compliance
• Awareness of Horizon Europe evaluator and monitor activities and expert call procedures is an advantage
• Knowledge of eGrants and eExperts is a strong asset

• Perform business analysis for expert contracting workflows, including Contract Termination and Early Closure, Conflict of Interest, and Point of Departure
• Support the redesign of business functionalities within ECS Front Office, ECS Back Office, and Compass workflows
• Analyze and specify requirements for ECS Back Office, Compass workflows, ECS Front Office, and MyExpertArea components
• Support integration initiatives with the Funding & Tenders Portal
• Contribute to requirements gathering and analysis related to integrations with external systems such as SEP, Sygma, PMON, SUMMA, ERIS/ARES, Secunda, IAM, eGDR, and EXPAIR
• Support requirements analysis and specification based on business needs
• Prepare functional specifications, feature descriptions, story cards, and acceptance criteria
• Create and maintain user stories, epics, and backlogs within agile tracking tools such as Jira
• Conduct impact analysis and dependency assessments for change requests and enhancements including integration mapping updates
• Support solution design activities by translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Support feasibility assessments for new requests evaluating business impact, technical impact, effort, complexity, risks, and dependencies
• Support the preparation of risk matrices, stakeholder matrices, cost calculations, technical and architectural models
• Support UAT, validation, regression testing, and defect management activities
• Provide support during pilot deployments and post-release validation activities
• Participate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Support backlog refinement and requirements refinement sessions
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and communication between business and IT teams
• Support sprint demonstrations and validation of delivered functionalities
• Monitor and report progress at team and product level
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation in repositories such as Confluence and SharePoint
• Support knowledge transfer activities to business and support teams

Zgoda na przetwarzanie danych osobowych może zostać wycofana w dowolnym momencie.
