Game QA / Tester Gier

Sperasoft is hiring for testing positions based in Kraków and Warszawa with a focus on game quality assurance.

• Passion for video games
• Good spoken and written English (Intermediate level or higher)
• Excellent understanding of software quality assurance concepts, debugging processes, and procedures including TTY and output information for issue reproduction
• At least 2 years of commercial testing experience with successfully delivered projects
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team
• Solid experience with tracking and version control systems (JIRA, Perforce)

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge and strict adherence to game development processes
• Full understanding of game design and inter-dependencies
• Experience testing Mobile, PC, or Console (PlayStation, Xbox) games

• Drive on daily basis product testing: report and document new defects, evaluate fixes, help developers reproduce hard bugs
• Perform regression testing
• Manage tasks in own scope, coordinate work with peers
• Communicate daily with foreign Client QA team
• Suggest risk mitigation plans for own tasks
• Follow existing practices within the team
• Receive and collect knowledge, own professional development plan
