Senior QA Automation Engineer

The project is in the finance/FinTech industry, building from scratch a greenfield key component of a new ecosystem supporting debt management processes. It uses Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Agile/Kanban methodologies, distributed architecture, asynchronous event-driven communication, and microservices.

• Minimum 4–5 years experience as a Tester / QA Engineer, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Very good programming knowledge in C# / .NET and frameworks xUnit, Reqnroll, Shouldly.
• Practical experience with testing tools Cypress and Playwright.
• Knowledge of API testing tools: Swagger, Postman, Apidog, TestContainers.
• Experience testing distributed systems and event-driven architecture (asynchronous communication / queues).
• Experience in projects following DDD (Domain-Driven Design) principles.
• Experience working with GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions (pipeline creation and modification).
• Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL), version control system Git, and tools Jira + Xray.
• Ability to work with metrics in Grafana.
• Education or practice in creating BDD tests.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2/C1 level.
• Location in Poland (mandatory due to client hardware security policy).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OCP (OpenShift).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience setting software quality standards and mentoring junior team members.
• Openness to using AI tools in daily work (GitHub Copilot, LLM).

• Design, create, and maintain automated tests for APIs, UI, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Develop new test scenarios and cases including functional, regression, integration, and UAT tests.
• Test distributed systems and inter-service integrations based on asynchronous communication (queues, event-driven) and REST APIs.
• Create and modify CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests.
• Maintain traceability and manage tests in Jira and Xray.
• Monitor key metrics (e.g., payment throughput, processing delays) using Grafana.

Remote work requires presence on the territory of Poland due to client hardware security policy.
