Senior Android Developer

Angry Nerds is a software house with 10 years in the market, about 100 employees, and has completed 545 projects.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in developing modern Android applications
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK
• Experience with Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Retrofit, dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Hilt), MVVM / MVI, and Room
• Experience in debugging, profiling, and optimizing application performance
• Experience writing unit tests
• Proficient in Jetpack Compose, including testing and optimizing recompositions
• Knowledge of publishing applications on Google Play
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD: configuring and maintaining pipelines and automating builds and distribution (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Experience designing mobile application architecture, including modularization
• Good knowledge of Gradle: build and variant configuration, R8 configuration, dependency management, and build time optimization
• English language proficiency suitable for smooth client communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
• Experience with adaptive UI
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform

• Creating and developing code in collaboration with the project team
• Mentoring junior and mid developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high technical standards in the team
• Collaborating with clients regarding proposed solutions for new functionalities
• Participating in analysis, estimation, and project planning processes
• Supporting decisions related to application architecture and design
