Game QA / Tester Gier

The company has partnered with Ubisoft, Microsoft, Warner Brothers, 343 Industries, Riot Games, Electronic Arts, Sony, BioWare, Blizzard Entertainment, and others.

• Passion for video games
• Good spoken and written English (minimum Intermediate level; Upper-Intermediate or higher is a plus)
• Excellent understanding of software quality assurance concepts, debugging processes, and procedures, including obtaining TTY and output information for issue reproduction
• At least 2 years of commercial experience in testing with successfully delivered projects
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team
• Experience with tracking and version control systems such as JIRA and Perforce

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge and strict adherence to game development processes
• Full understanding of the game's design and system inter-dependencies
• Experience testing Mobile, PC, or Console games (PlayStation, Xbox)

• Drive daily product testing: report and document new defects, evaluate fixes, help developers reproduce hard bugs
• Regression testing
• Manage tasks in own scope and coordinate work with peers
• Communicate daily with foreign Client QA team
• Suggest risk mitigation plans for own tasks
• Follow existing practices within the team
• Receive and collect knowledge; own professional development plan
