Snowflake Architect/ Senior Developer

ITFS is offering a role focused on Data Engineering and Cloud projects, involving development and architecture of data platforms using tools like Snowflake and Databricks. The position supports end-to-end design and collaboration with architects, analysts, and developers.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data/Cloud, including at least 2-3 years directly working with Snowflake
• Role profile as Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer focused on architecture design, standard definition, and team leadership
• In-depth knowledge of the Snowflake platform
• Experience with Databricks
• Experience designing complex data pipelines and data processing/calculation solutions
• Practical knowledge of orchestration of ETL/ELT processes, controlled reruns, and reconciliation
• Experience implementing automated tests, data quality control mechanisms, and data lineage
• Ability to design scalable data architectures and make architectural decisions
• Experience with cloud projects and modern data platforms (e.g., Azure)
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
• English language proficiency at minimum B2+

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Snowpark Python

• Design and develop modern Data Engineering solutions using Snowflake and Databricks
• Design architecture of complex data pipelines and calculation engines
• Build scalable and efficient data processing workflows
• Define and implement orchestration mechanisms, controlled reruns, and data reconciliation processes
• Design and implement solutions ensuring high data quality including automated tests, validations, and data lineage
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and development teams on end-to-end solution design
• Support defining architectural standards and best practices for data platforms
• Provide technical advice and review solutions designed by the team

Work location is 100% remote from Poland territory.
