Linux Engineer

Diverse CG Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. is hiring for a Linux Engineer skilled in Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and automation.

• Approximately 4-5 years of experience in Linux engineering, system administration, infrastructure automation, or similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of patch management and automation using Red Hat Satellite.
• Proficient in scripting with Bash.
• Experience programming in Python or Perl.
• Extensive experience with configuration management tools, especially Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and newer.
• Advanced troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Scrum or Agile environments.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Google Compute Engine and migration from VMware to GCE.
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
• Experience in network administration and configuration.
• Familiarity with integration with Windows systems.
• Experience working in SAFe/Scrum environments.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certificate or equivalent practical experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+.

• Design and implement automation processes using CI/CD tools and procedures.
• Manage and automate patch installations via Red Hat Satellite.
• Develop and maintain scripts in Bash, Python, and Perl.
• Work with configuration management tools, especially Ansible.
• Administer Linux systems and resolve advanced technical issues.
• Create clear technical documentation for end users, engineers, and architects.
• Research and implement AI-based solutions for self-healing platform functions.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders within SAFe/Scrum methodologies.
• Propose improvements and innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
• Support platform stability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Assist in migrating environments from VMware to Google Compute Engine (GCE).
