Senior Web3 QA Automation Engineer

• 6+ years of QA experience including strong manual testing skills.
• Proven experience with test automation for frontend and backend using TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing (REST) and UI automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar.
• Deep understanding of blockchain transaction architecture and lifecycle.
• Experience with EVM-based networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Optimism, BNB Chain).
• Strong knowledge of DeFi protocols and testing scenarios.
• Familiarity with token standards: ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, EIP-712.
• Knowledge of wallet architectures, transaction signing, and key lifecycle.
• Experience verifying on-chain state with RPC nodes, blockchain explorers, and Web3 libraries such as ethers.js, viem, or web3.js.
• Experience testing in testnet and mainnet-fork environments using tools like Hardhat, Foundry, Anvil, Tenderly.
• Analytical skills for backend issue investigation using Datadog, Sentry, or similar.
• Practical experience with AI tools for testing acceleration and analysis.
• Product-oriented mindset with ability to analyze specifications and suggest improvements.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and using Git.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with non-EVM ecosystems (Bitcoin UTXO model, Solana, TON, Tron).
• Understanding of Multi-Party Computation (MPC), threshold signatures, and secure enclaves.
• Experience testing smart contracts including unit, integration, fuzz testing (Foundry), proxy patterns, and upgrades.
• Familiarity with oracle and cross-chain protocols like Chainlink, Pyth, LayerZero, Wormhole.
• Experience with on-chain indexers such as The Graph.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools like k6, JMeter.
• Experience testing event-driven and microservices architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Experience using Docker for test environment preparation and containerization.

• Build and maintain end-to-end test automation for frontend and backend using TypeScript.
• Perform manual testing including requirements analysis, test case design, exploratory and regression testing.
• Test blockchain transaction lifecycles including nonce management, gas/fee models (EIP-1559), transaction replacement/rebroadcast, reorgs, and stuck transactions.
• Test integrations with various EVM-based networks and understand network behavioral differences.
• Design test scenarios for DeFi protocols such as staking, bridging, lending/borrowing, AMMs/DEXs, on-chain routing, yield mechanisms, and ERC-4626 vault.
• Validate token standards behavior including ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and EIP-712 typed data signing.
• Test wallet infrastructure including custodial/non-custodial architectures, transaction signing, and key lifecycle management.
• Verify on-chain state using blockchain RPC nodes, block explorers, and Web3 libraries like ethers.js, viem, and web3.js.
• Test in testnet and mainnet-fork environments (e.g., Hardhat, Foundry, Anvil, Tenderly) including blockchain forks, mocking conditions, and preparing deterministic data.
• Investigate backend issues using logs and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Sentry.
• Use AI tools and AI agents to accelerate testing, generate and maintain test coverage, and analyze issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and use Git.
