Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java)

Our client operates in the medical and life sciences industry, focusing on software running on laboratory instruments. The role involves working on a desktop application within this domain.

• Strong proficiency in Java with senior-level experience in test automation.
• Experience with UI test automation tools or frameworks.
• Experience with build tools such as Gradle and/or Maven.
• Knowledge of API testing.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Willingness to occasionally work from the office in Wrocław.

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with task and test management tools such as Jira, Xray, TestRail, Zephyr, or Azure DevOps.

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests for a desktop application running on a laboratory instrument.
• Analyse requirements and specifications to identify appropriate test strategies and test cases.
• Execute automated and manual tests, and report defects clearly.
• Monitor and improve test coverage, reliability, and execution time of test suites.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines by integrating and optimising automated tests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and tools in an Agile/Scrum team.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure high software quality.

Willingness to occasionally work from the office in Wrocław (a few times per month).
