They develop the Voltana platform, based on AI, to optimize stationary battery energy storage systems for large commercial and industrial clients in Belgium and Germany. The company consists of experienced entrepreneurs, managers, and specialists with expertise in renewable energy, aiming to support companies in energy transformation and sustainable development.
Wymagania
- Minimum 4 years of experience in support and test engineering, mainly in manual testing and support problem-solving, with some automated testing in microservices systems
- Openness to expanding knowledge in energy domains (renewable energy, BESS, BMS, PV or related) for support tasks
- Basic knowledge of test automation with Playwright and TypeScript
- Proven ability to diagnose and debug complex technical issues
- Ability to explain system operation to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and solve problems
Nice to have:
- Domain experience in energy (renewables, BESS, BMS, PV or related), Python, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience reading telemetry, logs, basic device communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT)
- Advanced experience in test automation or SDET roles
- Experience implementing observability in testing processes, integrating with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog
- Experience with other testing types like load, performance, chaos, resilience testing for distributed systems
Obowiązki
- Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot sites and assets in the system
- Analyze telemetry and explain battery behavior and installation anomalies
- Act as first-line contact for internal users of the Voltana platform
- Participate actively in shaping QA strategy and selecting tools for Voltana, including test automation
- Perform manual testing to ensure system stability handling tens of millions of events daily
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Playwright (UI, API, end-to-end)
- Collaborate closely with software engineering team to integrate shift-left testing with CI/CD pipelines
- Stay updated on testing technical trends and developments in the energy sector
- Apply engineering best practices, including effective use of AI tools to improve product quality and company productivity
