SOC Architect

Softeta is an IT solutions provider based in Vilnius, Lithuania with over 100 professionals across Lithuania and Poland. The company supports complex challenges in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and industrial automation. This role is for a strategic customer in the energy sector.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including extensive Security Operations Center (SOC) architecture and security engineering.
• Familiarity with industrial automation environments (PLC, SAS, OT General).
• Strong understanding of IT and OT cybersecurity concepts.
• Practical knowledge of IEC 62443.
• Ability to translate business and operational requirements into scalable security architectures and technical solutions.
• Familiarity with protocol analysis and system hardening.
• Strong communication skills to influence technical direction across organizations.
• Fluent English.

• Design and implement Security Operations Center (SOC) architecture for IT and OT environments across energy generation, transmission, and distribution assets.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring strategy, ensuring comprehensive visibility across enterprise, cloud, and industrial control systems.
• Design and optimize security log management, telemetry collection, and data onboarding from enterprise and industrial environments.
• Define SOC architecture roadmaps, technology standards, and reference architectures supporting digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead security tool evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and vendor selection processes.
• Develop architecture documentation, security standards, implementation guidelines, and executive-level reporting.
• Support cyber resilience initiatives by integrating incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including NIS2, IEC 62443.
