Senior Test Specialist

• Proven experience as a Senior Test Specialist or QA Specialist with strong hands-on software testing expertise.
• Strong experience with functional testing, including black-box and white-box testing.
• Ability to independently design, document, maintain, and execute high-quality test cases.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps for test case management, planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Experience preparing structured test runs and reports to show test coverage, defects, and quality status.
• Experience with multiple test types: functional, integration, regression, UI, platform, and performance testing.
• Experience with defect management including documentation, prioritization, follow-up, and validation.
• Experience testing solutions with multiple integrated components and dependencies.
• Experience with API testing, preferably using Postman.
• Understanding of agile working methods and collaboration with Product Owners, Project Managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, risks, and areas needing additional test coverage.

Nice to have:

• Experience with automated testing is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute effectively in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Strong communication skills for clearly reporting test results and quality status to technical and business stakeholders.

• Own and execute test activities across CPQ Hub & GCH projects before release.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases covering business requirements, functional flows, integrations, and technical scenarios.
• Plan and prepare test runs in Azure DevOps ensuring traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results, and defects.
• Perform hands-on functional testing using black-box and white-box techniques.
• Execute and document functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, UI testing, platform testing, and performance testing.
• Validate integrations and APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Identify, document, and manage defects throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and ensure resolution of defects.
• Prepare test reports showing test coverage, open and resolved defects, and overall quality status.
• Provide regular test status updates, risks, and quality insights to Project Manager for stakeholders.
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure business requirements are properly covered and tested.
• Identify potential gaps in requirements, functionality, integrations, and test coverage.
• Maintain testing documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes within CPQ Hub & GCH teams.
• Contribute to ensuring stable and high-quality releases by early issue identification and test coverage.
