Software Development Engineer (Senior QA / Test Automation)

P&P Solutions is hiring for a modern greenfield project focused on debt collection management processes. The project is built with a Domain-Driven Design (DDD) approach and Agile methodology.

• Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience as Tester/QA Engineer, including at least 2 years at senior level.
• Strong programming skills in the .NET environment.
• Practical experience in preparing and maintaining automated tests (UI, API, End-to-End).
• Experience with C#, .NET 10, xUnit, Reqnroll, Shouldly, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Good knowledge of TestContainers and API tools such as Swagger, Postman, or Apidog.
• Experience creating functional, integration, regression, and UAT test scenarios and cases.
• Experience testing distributed systems and service integrations.
• Practical knowledge of testing REST API and asynchronous communication systems (queues, messaging).
• Experience working with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and integrating tests into pipelines.
• Good knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience using Jira and Xray.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience in performance testing (JMeter, k6).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in projects following Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Practical knowledge of BDD methodology.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements.
• Willingness to collaborate with business and development teams.
• Experience setting quality standards and mentoring less experienced team members.
• Openness to using AI tools such as Copilot and LLM models for QA process automation.

• Design and develop automated UI, API, and end-to-end tests.
• Create and maintain test scenarios and cases for new functionalities.
• Test distributed systems and inter-service integrations.
• Verify REST API communication and asynchronous messaging mechanisms.
• Integrate tests with GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and analysts on requirements analysis and quality planning.
• Analyze test results and report bugs using Jira and Xray.
• Monitor system quality and key application metrics using Grafana.
• Participate in defining quality standards and improving testing processes.
• Actively contribute to project development following Domain-Driven Design and Agile methodology.
