Business System Analyst (Payment Acceptance Platform / Acquiring / Merchant Lifecycle)

• Minimum 5 years as a System Analyst, Business-System Analyst, or similar in banking, payments, fintech, or acquiring.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end acquiring processes.
• Experience with merchant lifecycle management and onboarding.
• Knowledge of clearing, settlement, merchant funding, and reconciliation processes.
• Understanding of merchant accounting principles and fee calculations.
• Experience with disputes, chargebacks, and fraud management.
• Knowledge of digital payments and e-commerce.
• Familiarity with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and BLIK.
• Understanding of Single Message and Dual Message processing.
• Knowledge of ISO8583 and ISO20022.
• Experience preparing analysis documentation, interface specifications, and test scenarios.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of EMV.
• Experience with Merchant Portal / Acquirer Portal solutions.
• Understanding of PCI DSS and payment security.
• Experience supporting certification projects with payment organizations.

• Gather, analyze and document business and system requirements for the Payment Acceptance Platform.
• Prepare business and system analysis documentation, interface specifications, process flows, and data mappings.
• Analyze merchant onboarding, lifecycle, and hierarchy processes.
• Support acquiring transaction processing, clearing, settlement, and merchant funding initiatives.
• Analyze merchant accounting rules, fee calculations, and reconciliation.
• Analyze dispute and chargeback processes.
• Support fraud prevention and digital payments initiatives.
• Analyze integrations between the platform and banking/payment systems.
• Prepare and review ISO8583 and ISO20022 message mappings.
• Support EMV initiatives and payment security requirements.
• Prepare test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and support SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
