Functional Analyst role in a team working on a major transformation program for a leading international bank focused on Target Operating Model (TOM) in Private Banking and Investment Management.

• Experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst in banking or finance. • Knowledge of banking products, especially securities processing. • Familiarity with portfolio management systems and their integration with other banking systems. • Understanding of investment advisory processes and MiFID regulations. • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements. • Experience preparing functional specifications and technical User Stories in an Agile environment. • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases used in data analysis. • Basic knowledge of Java or other programming languages enabling effective collaboration with development teams. • Experience specifying REST API and working with JSON format. • Analytical thinking and effective collaboration with business and technical stakeholders. • Very good command of English. • German language proficiency at minimum B1 level (mandatory).

Nice to have:

• Experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Asset Management.
• Knowledge of AI-based tools or solutions for requirement analysis.
• Experience in large transformation programs in the banking sector.
• Familiarity with cloud-based integration solutions.

• Analyze business and functional requirements related to Private Banking and Investment Management. • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical user stories. • Collaborate with business representatives, Product Owners, Solution Architects, development teams, and testing teams at all project stages. • Analyze existing applications, systems, and business processes to identify improvement and integration opportunities. • Define and document requirements for REST API, integration scenarios, and data exchange formats such as JSON. • Support solution design ensuring functional consistency between systems and applications. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. • Support testing by refining functional requirements and verifying delivered solutions. • Expand knowledge of banking products, investment processes, and new technologies supporting banking transformation.
