Cyber Incident & Response Team Analyst

The Cyber Defense Center (CDC) is part of the Chief Information Security Officer Office, responsible for monitoring, incident management, forensic analysis, cyber threat intelligence, vulnerability management and related security functions.

• 3+ years experience in incident response.
• Expertise in Information Security.
• Good knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Good knowledge of networking, specifically TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of forensic techniques, evidence collection, and memory analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud evidence collection and both live and offline acquisition techniques.
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).

Nice to have:

• GIAC certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, GREM or equivalent.
• Knowledge of network traffic analysis, firewalls, IDS, proxy, WAF, Active Directory, EDR, antivirus.
• Experience with vulnerability management, threat management, vulnerability scanning, Data Loss Prevention.
• Knowledge of IDA or other decompilation tools.
• Knowledge of zOS, Tandem platforms.

• Independently handle investigations within procedural frameworks.
• Own incidents and lead resolution of complex, critical, and sensitive cases.
• Identify incidents requiring heightened focus and ensure meeting service levels.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence and SOC teams to develop automated incident management processes.
• Execute and manage Cyber Security Incident Management processes and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate and communicate with security organization, business, IT, and external stakeholders.
• Validate and report deviations from incident response playbooks.
• Manage forensic technologies and assess incident impacts on complex environments.
• Manage reporting and internal/external stakeholder communication.
• Oversee root cause analysis ensuring adherence to problem, issue, and risk management processes.
• Conduct forensic investigations and ensure digital evidence preservation.
• Assist and execute forensic investigations aligned with company guidelines.
• Act as expert interface for legal cases and participate in industry-wide cyber exercises.
• Provide evidence in court and represent Euroclear in fraud forums.
• Develop, implement, and exercise incident response frameworks and processes.
• Maintain close relationships with device owners, stakeholders, and IT teams.
