Senior SRE Engineer

• 4+ years of professional software development or SRE experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications, REST-based APIs, and microservice principles and architectures.
• Experience with modern DevOps tooling, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with high-availability architecture, observability and monitoring, automated testing, and network concepts and protocols such as OSI, SIP, HTTP and WebSockets.
• Creativity and persistence in solving complex problems.
• Enthusiasm for learning key technologies, architectures, processes and best practices.

• Implement monitoring and observability objectives; maintain alert response playbooks.
• Build and reinforce high-availability and reliability strategies.
• Triage customer incidents and problems to the correct software teams; troubleshoot and manage problems.
• Maintain and report SLOs and error budgets.
• Facilitate Chaos Engineering and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis with engineering teams.
• Develop SRE culture and share best practices across Emergency Call Management.
• Provide production on-call support and incident command, meeting regulatory reporting needs and supporting customer communications.
