AI Enablement Specialist (German-speaking) | Enterprise SAP Transformation

Polcode is a global technology partner with almost 100 professionals that helps build and improve digital businesses, software platforms, eCommerce stores, websites, and apps. This role is part of a strategic transformation initiative for a leading European company in the energy and utilities sector focusing on a new SAP-based billing platform for the client's German organization.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional software development environment
• Experience working with AI assistants, copilots, or LLM-based development tools (e.g. Claude Code)
• Ability to effectively apply AI throughout the software delivery lifecycle including analysis, documentation, design, development, and testing
• Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible usage
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent English and German (must-have)
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Essen, Germany for onboarding and key project activities

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP Utilities (UC4G, IS-U or S/4HANA)
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows
• Basic knowledge of ABAP, Python, or similar technologies
• Familiarity with SAP BTP or modern cloud architectures

• Build and operate AI-powered solutions supporting the delivery team
• Develop AI agents, automations, scripts, and integrations
• Use AI to support requirements analysis, solution design, documentation, coding, and testing
• Increase delivery efficiency through practical AI adoption
• Enable the squad to become self-sufficient in AI-supported development
• Define and promote AI best practices within the SAP ecosystem
• Drive the adoption of AI as a standard engineering practice

Remote-first within Poland with occasional travel to Essen, Germany (including onboarding), or work from the office in Warszawa.
