SAP Consultant (SAP SD, MM And FI)

Square One Resources is recruiting for an experienced SAP Consultant to analyze business requirements and deliver automated tax determination logic within SAP S/4HANA with a focus on tax and statutory requirements in Germany and EU.

• 8+ years of SAP FICO implementation experience with at least 2 full life-cycle implementations in FI and CO/SD/MM integration
• Knowledge of tax and statutory requirements in Germany and EU countries
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Nice to have:

• Good command of German
• Expert knowledge of SAP Indirect Tax (VAT/GST) and SAP DRC
• ABAP debugging skills to troubleshoot complex tax calculation and interface issues

• Analyze business requirements to design and deliver automated tax determination logic within SAP S/4HANA
• Integrate tax requirements across SAP SD, SAP MM, and SAP FI modules
• Configure and maintain the interface between SAP and external tax engines (e.g., ONESOURCE, Sovos) for real-time rate calculations
• Support technical setup for local statutory requirements, such as real-time reporting and SAFT
• Translate complex tax laws into clear functional specifications as liaison between business and IT
• Lead Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for tax-related changes
• Resolve complex tax calculation and e-invoice submission issues in high-volume transaction environments
