Senior ML/Python Engineer

Devopsbay specializes in MLOPS, DevOps, and AI, supporting clients with engineering expertise on projects and developing in-house products such as descrb.com and defencebay.com. The project involves working with a modern insurance brokerage and advisory firm serving technology, life sciences, and professional services sectors, utilizing AI-powered tools to improve insurance solutions.

• Proficient in Python and AI technologies.
• Experience with AWS (level 3) and LLM technologies (level 5).
• Knowledge of ETL tools (level 3) and Snowflake (level 3).
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) (level 4).
• Strong English language skills (C1 level).

• Work with technologies including Agentic AI, TypeScript, Snowflake, AWS, LLM-related technologies, data integrations, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build LLM-powered applications using retrieval-augmented generation, tool usage, context management, prompt engineering, evaluation, and feedback loops.
• Develop a chatbot that learns from user interactions and supports users with domain-specific knowledge.
• Design and implement integrations with multiple internal and external data sources.
• Prepare reliable data pipelines, transformations, and data-access layers for structured and unstructured data.
• Take ownership of ambiguous problems and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Communicate with the team and non-technical users, discussing ideas.
• Work in a dynamic, startup-style environment with rapid learning and iteration.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with event-driven architectures and workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience in regulated domains such as insurance, fintech, or healthcare.
• Familiarity with AWS services and distributed backend infrastructure.

Working within this project requires availability for meetings in Pacific Time zone (mainly till 19:30, usually no later than 18:00). Fluent English is required. Personal data processing information is provided by the employer.
