IT Project Manager

SPEEDNET is a software company based in Gdańsk with over 20 years of experience, employing more than 200 developers specialized in web and mobile applications. The company executes projects ranging from startups and medium-sized business apps to complex, fully featured multiplatform banking systems for Polish and international clients.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in managing IT projects
• Practical experience cooperating with clients from fintech, banking, and/or insurtech sectors with good understanding of these industries
• Very good command of English (at least B2 level)
• Good orientation in technologies used in software development and ability to conduct technical discussions with teams and clients
• Practical knowledge of Scrum and Agile project management methods
• Experience in team work planning, task estimation, and project schedule management
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile project management practices
• Well-developed analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work at the office at least once per month

Nice to have:

• Experience in pre-sales processes, project estimation, and preparing cost offers
• Use of AI-based tools for project management, planning, estimation, risk analysis, or daily team work
• Technical education (IT, computer science, engineering) or equivalent experience in software development
• Certifications in project management such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

• Comprehensive management of IT projects for banking and financial sector clients
• Planning, monitoring, and coordinating project team tasks using Agile methodologies
• Collaborating with clients to define project objectives, scope, and priorities
• Managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and scope
• Estimating work and supporting the team in planning project stages
• Coordinating cooperation between technical, business teams and project stakeholders
• Monitoring progress and ensuring timely milestone achievement
• Identifying project risks and proposing mitigation actions
• Supporting pre-sales efforts including offer preparation, estimation, and client presentations
• Building long-term client relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery
• Supporting continuous improvement of project processes and promoting good Agile practices
