Senior Software Engineer (Python)

• 3 to 5 years professional experience as a Python developer with data or backend focus.
• Strong skills in Python, including data-processing libraries such as pandas and frameworks for building REST APIs like FastAPI or Flask.
• Solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or Oracle).
• Experience building and orchestrating data pipelines, ideally using Airflow.
• Comfortable with Git, code review, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Good understanding of API design and system integration.
• Ability to work in English within an international team.

Nice to have:

• Full-stack development experience with Angular.
• Experience with cloud data infrastructure and containerisation.
• Exposure to event streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with data-quality or observability tooling.
• Understanding of machine-learning workflows for collaboration with data scientists.
• Experience in automotive, leasing, pricing, or remarketing domains.

• Design, build, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines orchestrated with Airflow bringing internal and external data into the platform.
• Help shape and evolve the canonical data model with strong attention to data quality, consistency, and lineage.
• Build and maintain backend Python services and REST APIs that expose pricing, vehicle, mapping, and recommendation data.
• Implement and maintain integrations with source and downstream systems, including external API calls and event-driven data flows.
• Write clean, tested, and documented code; set up monitoring and data-quality checks; support pipelines and services in production.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, technical architects, scrum masters, and Motortrade developers.

Full-stack contribution (a plus):

• Contribute to the Motortrade front end built with Angular where pricing features are surfaced to users.
