Senior Platform Engineer - Allegro Pay

Allegro Pay is a leading FinTech company in Central Europe focused on financial technology solutions. The team operates at a large scale, handling over 60 million requests daily and managing dozens of terabytes of data with a high engineering maturity level comparable to FAANG companies.

• Experience with platform engineering, Kubernetes, and GitOps tools such as Istio, ArgoCD, and Helm
• Experience using public cloud services, preferably Azure
• Skills in scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash
• Understanding of distributed systems and their design
• Experience with containerization and cloud computing
• Willingness to write high-quality code and participate in code reviews
• Ability to search for efficient solutions to meet user needs
• Eagerness to continuously develop skills and knowledge
• Proficient in English at minimum B2 level

• Develop and maintain tools for developers
• Support and improve Kubernetes workloads including Istio and ArgoCD
• Design and implement high availability solutions in multi-region setups
• Research new technologies, execute proofs of concept, and document analysis
• Provide platform support to product teams through tools, automation, and integrations
• Contribute to one of the largest .NET and Azure-based products in Poland with hundreds of microservices and millions of customers
