Product Design Business Line Manager

EDISONDA has been designing digital products, services, and systems for large organizations for over 15 years. They combine design, research, strategy, and technology, helping clients move from problem diagnosis to ready-to-implement solutions. They are part of the Digital Driver at Grant Thornton Poland and collaborate with Grant Thornton teams across international markets.

• Proven commercial ownership with responsibility for revenue, margin, and forecasting in consulting, agency, or digital services.
• Experience contributing to client growth through discovery, proposals, pricing, and executive conversations.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements balancing scope, staffing, quality, utilization, and profitability.
• Leadership experience in hiring, performance management, capability development, and feedback.
• Senior experience in Product Design, UX, Service Design, or digital product consulting with ability to assess quality and challenge specialists.
• Proficiency in Polish and English for communication with C-level, business, product, and technology stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial (FSI), energy, logistics, or healthcare sectors or large enterprise organizations.
• Familiarity with legacy modernization, digital accessibility (WCAG/EAA), design systems, and AI-based conversational or agentic interfaces.

Business Ownership and Growth:

• Own the annual business plan, revenue target, target margin, and quarterly forecast for the Product Design unit.
• Build and manage the commercial pipeline with the Growth team, contributing to qualification, proposals, pricing, and client pitches.
• Grow existing accounts through renewals, upsell, and cross-sell, managing commercial follow-through.
• Develop and productize the Product Design service portfolio, including pricing and go-to-market priorities.

Client Portfolio and Delivery Performance:

• Manage portfolio economics: project margin, scope, team utilization, staffing mix, and bench risk.
• Own key client relationships maintaining executive-level credibility during proposal, delivery, and renewal.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, at expected quality.
• Intervene early to address risks in scope, margin, staffing, quality, or client satisfaction.

Team Leadership and Design Authority:

• Lead Product Design team with staffing, performance reviews, development plans, and hiring recommendations.
• Assess competencies, build succession plans to ensure team capabilities match service needs.
• Act as final quality authority for critical design decisions without defaulting to hands-on design.
• Advance digital product design practice including enterprise systems, design systems, digital accessibility, and AI-driven interfaces.
