DevOps Engineer – Automated Testing Platform (OMP)

The position is at Link Group focused on developing and maintaining a test automation framework supporting the OMP Unison Planning platform in a cloud-native environment.

• Strong proficiency in Python for test automation framework development and tooling.
• Practical knowledge or hands-on experience with OMP Unison Planning platform.
• Proven experience in API testing and integration testing methodologies.

Nice to have:

• Solid understanding of core DevOps principles, SDLC, and continuous automation practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline development and automated test execution.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of data validation, data quality testing, and SQL / database testing.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed environments.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test frameworks and automated test suites for OMP applications and integrations.
• Develop Python-based automation scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Partner closely with developers, solution architects, and product owners to define acceptance criteria and test strategies.
• Monitor automated test execution results, analyze failures, and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for rapid defect resolution.
• Support environment setup, deployment automation, and release validation activities within CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to documentation, coding standards, and best practices in test automation and DevOps engineering.
