Program Manager (AI Delivery)

Tenarai is offering a role focused on managing an AI and automation service encompassing demand intake, assessment, delivery, maintenance, and support for ongoing operations.

• Minimum 8 years experience running development and automation projects/programmes, with at least 3 years in management.
• Ability to organize a team around processes and ways of working beyond scheduling.
• Practical experience managing team capacity, prioritization, and business justification.
• Hands-on approach to setting up tooling and reporting personally.
• Experience communicating with senior stakeholders at VP level and above.
• Sufficient understanding of automation and AI to judge feasibility, effort, and maturity.
• Practical familiarity with cloud ecosystems and work management tools.
• Fluent spoken and written English suitable for senior leadership communication.
• Self-sufficient in remote work and experienced in leading distributed teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Microsoft environment: Azure, Copilot Studio, Power Platform.
• Experience with RPA, especially UiPath, and with Python.
• Familiarity with tooling for agent governance, observability, and cost control.
• Process credentials such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Experience in a shared service centre or comparable organisation size.
• Knowledge of German language.

• Run the service across its whole lifecycle including demand intake, business justification, backlog, delivery, maintenance, and post go-live support.
• Build and operate a single demand intake process with clear assessment and decision criteria.
• Set priorities, and intentionally park or decline requests with communicated feedback.
• Plan and protect team capacity, managing utilization, backlog, and resource allocation.
• Provide reporting at both management summary and detailed backlog/task levels.
• Establish and maintain team ways of working and tooling to transparently show progress and status.
• Lead work organization, delivery standards, and continuous team improvement without disciplinary responsibilities.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders including VP level to ensure transparency of team activities and results.
• Maintain and develop the portfolio of solutions already in operation, alongside new deliveries.
