Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Motor Control / Power Electronics)

The company has over 30 years of experience in power electronics, covering the full scope of work from design and production to sales and implementation with clients, serving leading companies in oil extraction, machinery construction, and heavy industry in Europe, USA, Canada, and Latin America.

• Commercial experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
• Experience with STM32 microcontrollers (series F0, F1, F3, F4, F7).
• Strong knowledge of microcontroller architecture and embedded system design principles.
• Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Experience with FreeRTOS.
• Experience developing low-level drivers.
• Experience with communication interfaces and protocols: SPI, UART, I2S, CAN, RS-485, Modbus.
• Experience with memory types: Flash, RAM, NAND Flash, FRAM.
• Experience in debugging and analyzing embedded software.
• Practical knowledge of working with measurement equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, other lab devices).
• Experience with Git, STM32CubeIDE, and Visual Studio.
• Polish language proficiency at B2 level.
• English language proficiency at B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Texas Instruments C2000 microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of SysBIOS.
• Experience developing software for motor control systems, frequency converters, or power electronics devices.
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux.
• Proficiency in Ukrainian language.

• Analysis of technical requirements, electrical schematics, and architecture of microcontroller-based devices.
• Designing embedded software architecture and optimizing microcontroller resource utilization.
• Developing and enhancing firmware for microcontroller platforms, especially STM32.
• Developing low-level drivers and implementing communication protocols.
• Collaborating with electronics team on prototyping, debugging, and validation.
• Analyzing hardware-software interactions, identifying issues, and proposing improvements.
• Developing automated testing methods for embedded software.
• Preparing and updating technical documentation related to firmware architecture and operation.
• Reviewing existing code, participating in code reviews, and optimizing software.
• Providing technical support during transition to serial production.
• Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of programmers and electronics engineers.

Only candidates with Polish language skills at B2 level are eligible. The candidate must have proficiency in English at B2 level. Knowledge of Ukrainian language is a plus.
