Data Engineer with German

DXC Technology is a global independent IT services company serving nearly 6,000 clients across 70 countries, formed by the merger of CSC and Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Enterprise Services business.

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• In-depth practical experience with Snowflake
• Excellent SQL skills and experience in data modeling
• Proficiency with dbt for development, testing, and deployment
• Experience using Git (Bitbucket)
• Basic understanding of containerization and deployment concepts in Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Experience with CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI)
• Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation
• Good command of German (minimum B2)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure services (Key Vault, Entra ID, Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory)
• Experience with Helm Charts and Artifactory
• Experience with Argo Workflows or similar orchestration tools
• Expertise in finance/investment data products
• Experience in business analysis and requirements engineering

• Develop and manage data models using Snowflake as a data warehouse
• Perform ELT and dimensional data modeling
• Develop, test, and deploy data models using dbt
• Use Git (Bitbucket) with branching strategies and pull requests
• Implement containerization and deployment concepts in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
• Work with CI/CD workflows, including tools like Jenkins, Tekton, or GitLab CI
• Automate data processing using Python
