P2P Solution Architect (Basware)

This role is part of a long-term transformation initiative focused on the development and optimisation of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes in the Retail / E-commerce industry. The position is located in Warsaw, Poland, with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 2 days per week from the Warsaw office. The contract type is B2B, initially for 6 months with strong potential for long-term cooperation, and the project duration is approximately 2–3 years.

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably within Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Pay, or financial process transformation projects.
• Expertise in Basware.
• In-depth understanding of procurement, invoice processing, accounts payable, and payment processes.
• Experience designing and implementing system integrations using APIs, EDI, or other methods.
• Ability to create comprehensive solution architectures covering applications, integrations, data flows, and business processes.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Confidence in presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional fluency in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 or AX 2012.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA.
• Basware or other relevant professional certifications.
• Experience working within large international organisations or complex transformation programmes.

• Collaborate with the P2P team to gather, analyse, and clarify business requirements related to procurement, invoicing, and payment processes.
• Design end-to-end P2P solutions using Basware and other relevant technologies.
• Translate business needs into scalable, efficient, and maintainable solution architectures.
• Define system integrations, data flows, interfaces, and process workflows.
• Ensure solutions follow architectural standards, industry best practices, and business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout implementation.
• Support project teams in resolving complex functional, technical, and integration challenges.
• Prepare and deliver solution demonstrations, presentations, and architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and business stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert in P2P technologies and processes.
• Stay up to date with developments and emerging trends within procurement, invoicing, and payment solutions.
