Security Officer

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
• At least 7 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT
• Experience in contract, vendor, and managed services procurement and management
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing technologies and virtualized environments
• Experience working in Agile software development and DevSecOps environments
• Excellent knowledge of information security, risk management and business continuity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001 and related standards)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security best practices, tools and technologies
• A professional security management certification will be considered an asset
• Excellent command of the English language

• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's information security, IT risk management, and governance frameworks
• Advise on security strategy, policies, standards, architecture, resilience, and operational security requirements
• Develop and maintain the Information Security Management Framework (ISMF), translating business objectives into effective security controls and risk management processes
• Establish and monitor IT governance, risk, compliance, audit, and reporting processes to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational requirements
• Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, IT security audits, and business continuity planning, recommending appropriate mitigation measures
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, documentation, and operational guidelines
• Lead enterprise-wide security initiatives, promoting security awareness and ensuring the consistent application of security standards across projects, systems, and services
• Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving complex security issues and implementing effective security controls
• Manage industrial and personnel security clearance processes and liaise with relevant security authorities where required
• Support strategic technology planning by advising on current and emerging cybersecurity risks, technologies, and best practices
