QA Engineer

Our client is a dynamic technology consulting and software development firm specializing in integrated solutions driven by emerging technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence. They develop tailored platforms for sectors including telecommunications, insurance, and treasury management. Based in Dubai, they serve a global market and focus on secure, scalable solutions that enhance competitiveness.

• 3–6 years of professional experience in software QA or Test Engineering within SaaS environments.
• Proven expertise in manual, regression, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
• Hands-on experience writing automated tests (preferably with Playwright; Cypress or Selenium acceptable).
• Strong proficiency in API testing.
• Ability to read code and navigate GitHub to understand technical changes.
• Exceptional written communication skills and detail-oriented bug reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage testing priorities without constant supervision.
• Experience working in an Agile environment with frequent deployment cycles.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and feature flag testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails environments.
• Domain experience in logistics, warehouse management (WMS), supply chain, or ERP software.
• Experience testing complex products with multiple third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with using AI tools (such as Claude Code) to augment the testing workflow.

• Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from initial requirements through to production release.
• Execute rigorous manual, regression, and exploratory testing to identify edge cases and improve user experience.
• Develop, maintain, and expand automated test suites to support a continuous integration environment.
• Perform API testing to ensure seamless communication between internal services and third-party integrations.
• Review GitHub pull requests to understand code changes and identify potential impact areas.
• Document clear, actionable bug reports and collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Take initiative in identifying process improvements and championing quality across the entire development lifecycle.
