Product Owner

This role is at Transition Technologies PSC, located in Łódź, focusing on cybersecurity product development. The company operates in a highly technical and international environment, collaborating closely with Security Architects, Product Managers, DevOps, and Engineering teams.

• English at an advanced level (minimum C1)
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Product or Solution Architect, or Lead Engineer in software industry
• Hands-on experience in cybersecurity domain (minimum 2 years)
• Hands-on experience working in a DevOps environment with solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, software delivery processes, and release management
• Ability to effectively collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams with practical understanding of modern software development practices
• Innovative, proactive, and highly motivated with a serious work ethic
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven technical skills and self-learning ability to understand functional and technical aspects of complex systems
• Proven Agile experience and management skill
• Ability to translate technical and security requirements into product features
• Experience in writing Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), functional specifications, and detailed product requirements
• Ability to break down complex technical problems into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Ability to understand software architecture and communicate effectively with software engineers on technical topics
• Experience working with cloud-native products and distributed systems considered a strong advantage

• Own and manage the product backlog (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria)
• Translate cybersecurity requirements into actionable development tasks
• Prioritize backlog based on business value, risk, and security impact
• Work closely with Engineering teams (backend, cloud, security), Product Management, and Security experts / architects
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, demo)
• Ensure alignment with product roadmap and security strategy
• Define and track product KPIs (e.g., detection efficiency, automation rate)
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an international environment
• Meet with customers to present new functionalities, get feedback, and understand customer needs
• Own and coordinate product release and patching process
• Prepare Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), functional specifications, and other product documentation
• Work closely with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements definition to production release
