Automation Test Engineer

• Minimum 2 years experience in backend test automation using Python and Pytest.
• Experience testing REST API with tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Apidog.
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, Kafka, message queues).
• Familiarity with protocols and standards such as SCIM, LDAP, OIDC, REST API, and CSV.
• Understanding of authorization models: RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, or PBAC.
• Practical experience with JIRA and Zephyr.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Experience testing cloud solutions; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Very good English language skills (C1) for work in an international environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Contract Testing.
• Knowledge of OPA / Rego and Policy as Code approaches.
• Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., n8n) or GenAI solutions supporting testing.
• Experience with containerized test execution.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, NeoLoad).
• Experience with GitOps.
• Knowledge of tools like HashiCorp Vault, SPIFFE/SPIRE, or session and security management solutions.

Test Automation & Quality Engineering:

• Design, create, and execute automated tests for backend applications and IAM solutions.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain testing frameworks based on Python and Pytest.
• Test services based on REST API and system integrations.
• Verify the operation of event-driven architecture components (Pub/Sub, queues, Kafka) and asynchronous processes.
• Test business logic defined as code (Policy as Code).
• Create and maintain test data for automatic and repeatable testing.

CI/CD and Team Collaboration:

• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud Security, and Software Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Analyze test results and participate in continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Identify quality risks and suggest improvements to increase application reliability.

Defect Management:

• Report, analyze, and verify defects.
• Participate in defect analysis meetings.
• Monitor progress and report test status.
