Site Reliability Engineer

Fibertide employs engineers with strong mathematical and computer science backgrounds. They design, maintain and develop large-scale cloud systems for companies from the U.S. and Europe, including ambitious startups and established businesses requiring support for large userbases, big datasets, and rapid growth.

• At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems for web applications, data pipelines, or other services.
• Thorough familiarity with most AWS and GCP services, including best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code paradigm, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and modern configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Strong programming skills regardless of technology choice.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies and stay up-to-date with cloud trends.
• Proficiency in mathematics, theoretical computer science, and advanced algorithms.
• Deep knowledge of software optimization, networking concepts, operating systems, and low-level optimization.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Polish at C1+ level, capable of representing the company.
• Willingness or ability to lead a small team, organizing work and priorities to meet client business expectations.

Nice to have:

• Significant experience in MLOps.
• Detailed knowledge of cloud service providers other than AWS and GCP.
• Degree in theoretical Computer Science.

• Implement cloud-based infrastructure for complex, large-scale systems and develop specialized data-processing software.
• Advise customers and their development teams on cloud-native solutions.
• Develop in-house utilities for managing cloud systems.
• Provide technical and business guidance within projects and cooperate with clients.
• Solve unconventional technical challenges that clients depend on.

Zgoda na przetwarzanie danych osobowych może zostać wycofana w dowolnym momencie. Odbiorcą danych jest serwis Just Join IT oraz inne podmioty, którym powierzyliśmy przetwarzanie danych w związku z rekrutacją.
