Senior Frontend Engineer, Conversions (all genders)

HelloFresh's global technology backbone, HelloTech, has over 1000 employees building digital products that support end-to-end food experiences including meal kits, ready-to-eat meals, pet food, and premium meat & seafood. The role is part of Conversions Tech, a team within the Growth Alliance focusing on marketing innovation and conversion optimization through advanced MarTech capabilities and data-driven growth strategies.

• Deep technical proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern rendering patterns including SSR.
• Experience architecting solutions using edge runtimes like Vercel Edge Functions or Cloudflare Workers, understanding edge caching impacts.
• Demonstrated expertise with GenAI tools and workflows to improve code quality and development speed.
• Practical experience with A/B testing and feature-flagging frameworks (e.g., Statsig, Optimizely).
• Familiarity with frontend monitoring and observability platforms.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to share knowledge and work autonomously across domains.

• Drive the architecture and delivery of personalized conversion pages and funnels using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, including SSR middleware and edge caching strategies.
• Champion GenAI proficiency by embedding AI-driven workflows into development, debugging, and code-quality processes.
• Ensure top-tier funnel performance and application stability by optimizing Core Web Vitals and low-latency personalization at global scale.
• Architect and maintain the MarTech integration layer, behavioral lead-capture tools, and GTM event pipelines for analytics and CRM systems.
• Implement automated testing strategies using Jest and Cypress alongside frontend observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, Grafana, or Sentry.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including product, machine learning, and design experts to shape personalized user experiences and resolve technical trade-offs.
