Digital Transformation Deployment Specialist (PLM, Windchill)

Hitachi Energy is hiring a Digital Transformation Specialist to lead global PLM transformation programs in engineering and manufacturing, focusing on integration of PLM with ERP and MES systems within multinational environments.

• Relevant experience in IT and digital transformation with a strong background in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Deep knowledge in PLM systems and strategy.
• Experience leading global PLM transformation programs in engineering and manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in Windchill, Teamcenter, or similar platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of processes connecting PLM to manufacturing, including mBOMs, process plans, routings, and integration with ERP and MES.
• Proven ability to manage third-party vendors and virtual delivery teams globally.
• Application of Lean and Six Sigma and Industry 4.0 concepts for process optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with fluency in English.
• Experience in multicultural and multinational environments.
• Availability to travel up to 30% to global engineering plants and sites.

• Execute the PLM strategy, aligning it with digital transformation objectives and driving business value in engineering and manufacturing.
• Integrate PLM with ERP, MES, and downstream systems to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.
• Promote the Digital Thread and configuration management to expand traceability, collaboration, and decision-making along the value chain.
• Optimize cross-functional processes using Lean and Six Sigma, focusing on BOMs, process plans, roadmaps, and supply chain integration.
• Engage business and IT stakeholders to capture complex requirements and facilitate global collaboration.
• Drive PLM governance and change management to support adoption of new tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a reference expert in PLM, guiding teams and supporting training on platforms such as Windchill or Teamcenter.
• Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines.
