The role is part of the global Purchasing Development business, focusing on building long-term relationships with suppliers who grow in efficiency and sustainability. This position is based in the Warsaw office and involves working within a micro-team to drive business success for the Solid Wood category.

Wymagania

  • Proven experience in purchasing, development, and maintenance of business relations with external partners.
  • Passion for leading business agenda, working with people, and making things happen.
  • Economic and financial knowledge with ability to understand and work with numbers.
  • Knowledge of production process and related cost drivers is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills, leadership, and decisiveness.
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written; knowledge of Polish is an asset.
  • Ability to build good relations and communicate effectively, including through feedback.
  • Openness to changes and ability to work efficiently in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive approach in daily work.
  • Readiness to seek new solutions and challenge the status quo.
  • Capability to handle business with a big-picture perspective and translate it into concrete actions.
  • Personal interest in home furnishing products.
  • Active driving license category B.

Obowiązki

  • Be a member of a 3-function micro-team focusing on particular suppliers.
  • Drive the business agenda with your supplier to deliver seamless supply performance.
  • Collaborate with a Production Engineer managing production process, quality, and IKEA standards compliance.
  • Work together with a Supply Planner handling logistics, capacity, and production planning.
  • Develop annual action plans with the team and suppliers based on strategic and tactical goals.
  • Drive innovations, secure growth, improve the business, and contribute to category business agenda.
