Software Engineer Intern - Warsaw Security

Snowflake is a company focused on powering the era of the agentic enterprise with AI-native thinking. The internship is offered within the Engineering team in Warsaw, focusing on security domains including Application Security, Infrastructure & Cloud Security, Security Engineering, Threat Detection & Response, and Compliance & Governance.

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the internship period
• Desired majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Required coursework: algorithms, data structures, and operating systems
• Recommended coursework: information security, cryptography, cloud computing, database systems, or distributed systems
• Duration: 4 months or more recommended
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java
• Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms; familiarity with ML/AI concepts is a plus
• Strong problem-solving ability and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
• Experience working as part of a team
• Dedication, curiosity, and a passion for security and technology
• Working proficiency in English (team operates in an English-language environment)

• Work with Application Security, Cloud & Infrastructure Security, Security Engineering, Threat Detection & Response, and Compliance & Governance teams
• Develop security tooling and automation using Python and Java
• Detect and remediate vulnerabilities in Snowflake's platform

• Manage cloud security posture and IAM controls
