AI Developer - GenAI

Arla is a global leader in the dairy industry with a Global Shared Services center in Gdańsk. The HyperAutomation Team within IT & Digital focuses on accelerating digital transformation by combining automation, data, and AI capabilities to solve real business challenges across the organization. The role is based in Gdańsk and involves working with technologies from Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio to pro-code applications on Azure.

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, tool/function calling, and grounding AI on enterprise data.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and open-source models.
• Experience building and configuring solutions using Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles including guardrails and prompt injection risks.
• Practical programming or scripting experience, ideally with Python, including building and debugging technical solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, APIs, integrations, automation, and rapid solution prototyping.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate designs effectively.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform and SharePoint, is an advantage.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured technical approach.
• Curiosity and passion for emerging AI technologies.
• Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and openness to feedback.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.

• Design, develop, and test Generative AI prototypes using both low-code and pro-code approaches, including demos, proofs of concept, and reusable technical components.
• Evaluate technical solution options, perform testing, and document design decisions, results, and recommendations.
• Prepare data, integrate services, and perform technical development tasks supporting Generative AI innovation and pilots.
• Create technical documentation, solution comparisons, and user guidance for knowledge sharing and adoption.
• Contribute to presentations, reporting, and communication of pilot progress, technical learnings, and outcomes to stakeholders.

This role requires being in the office 50% of the time plus one additional day monthly.
