Cybersecurity Senior Software Engineer

ESET is a cybersecurity company involved in international projects developing core antivirus scanner modules. The team works in small groups, focusing on clean and safe C++ development, reverse engineering, and binary format analysis.

• At least 5 years of experience in production-grade C++ programming.
• Knowledge of reverse engineering and analysis of binary file formats is a strong advantage.
• Good command of English for international teamwork.
• Ability to showcase programming-related projects.

Nice to have:

• Experience with IDA, OllyDbg.
• Experience in reverse engineering techniques.

• Create algorithms to process various (often proprietary) file formats without documentation.
• Analyze open-source code and compiled executables to enhance scanner capabilities.
• Apply reverse engineering techniques on archive formats and binary data.
• Develop in clean and safe C++ with proper documentation.
• Use tools including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate within a team to understand attacker methods and implement countermeasures.
