Solution Architect - DIA R&D

• Demonstrated experience designing business-driven, standards-based, future-ready solutions within a specific solution context.
• Experience maintaining vision, roadmap, and current landscape for technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience creating Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Preferred experience collaborating with R&D users.
• Knowledge of modern architecture practices including non-functional requirements and architecture decision records.
• Proficiency creating Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, and Ontologies for solutions and interfaces.
• Ability to define and drive reference architectures, patterns, NFRs, and fitness functions.
• Capability to drive external technology trends and conduct vendor assessments.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills with leadership ability.
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset to identify opportunities to enhance value, improve solutions, and manage technical debt.

Scope / (Content Leadership):

• Design solutions meeting product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards within a specific Solution Context.
• Manage Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) and fitness functions.
• Document and evolve architecture throughout the product life cycle, aligning with architecture community for governance.

Solution Design:

• Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions tailored to business needs.

Accountability/Problem Solving:

• Solve complex problems by analyzing multiple information sources.
• Maintain vision, roadmap, and current landscape for the solution.
• Assess impacts and dependencies of initiatives on capabilities, risk, and application landscape.
• Create Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, and Ontologies for solutions and interfaces.
• Define and drive reference architectures and patterns, ensuring Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) are recorded.

Stakeholder Management:

• Explain difficult or sensitive information clearly.
• Build consensus among stakeholders.
• Drive information sharing and exchange about the solution.

Impact/Strategy:

• Understand technical opportunities to improve business value.
• Provide technical oversight, guidance, and consultation on specific technologies.
