UI/Visual Designer

Motorola Solutions is focused on developing essential professional tools for public safety including emergency call-taking, dispatch systems, video security solutions, and applications for first responders and investigations. The company has a diverse, AI-forward multidisciplinary design team.

• 6+ years professional experience in UI design, preferably in SaaS solutions
• Passion and knowledge of type, color, and iconography with keen eye for visual balance and harmony
• Experience working with Design Systems: using, modifying, extending, and contributing
• Ability to partner with software development teams
• Collaboration skills with UX designers to achieve high-quality user experience
• AI-forward approach to adopting, exploring, and integrating new technologies
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating ability to design and maintain high-quality user interfaces

Additional requirements:

• Proven strategic thinking and ability to speak with clarity about design
• Mastery of design tools, especially deep knowledge of Figma and interest in AI integration in design-to-dev handover
• Functional knowledge of code and experience working with developers is a benefit
• Understanding design impact for native environments such as Android, iOS, and Windows is a plus

• Collaborate with the UX design team to turn wireframes into final UI assets
• Help build product libraries derived from the product Design System
• Work closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Multitask and work under pressure
• Maintain strong focus on the smallest details
