Liquidity Production Engineer

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The role is within the Production Support Team in the Payments IT department, ensuring technical operations of Global Payments Execution, Messaging & Orchestration, and Sanctions & Investigation services. The team follows Site Reliability Engineering principles to maintain platform availability and service stability in a mission-critical environment with a diverse tech stack. The position involves working in a dynamic global team supporting complex application landscapes with modern technology.

• Fluency in English (spoken & written).
• 3+ years experience in SQL and PL/SQL and Linux.
• 2+ years experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture.
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Python, or Java) for automation.
• Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with CICD pipelines and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
• Understanding of application landscape layers: storage, OS, network, database, and application.
• Proven triage capability under pressure and strong judgement in runtime priorities.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Payments domain.

• Provide full scope of day-to-day Production Support including incident resolution and post-resolution problem management.
• Deliver technical expertise in identifying root causes of major system issues.
• Install new software releases and implement locally developed solutions (Shell Scripts, Java, Bash, Python).
• Support various testing activities related to new implementations.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across multiple global locations.
• Review and re-engineer processes using new technologies to improve performance.
• Drive the implementation of service improvements, capability upgrades, and process optimization.
• Apply appropriate tools to analyze the architecture and validate system data.
• Perform data analysis to assist in root cause identification and data anomaly detection.
• Actively contribute to team objectives, sometimes leading, sometimes supporting initiatives to meet shared goals.
